Hot insulation for high-temperature environments in factories and companies

Thermal insulation is used in high-temperature environments such as ovens and engine compartments. Many different types of materials, including fireproof rubber, are available. Choices include ceramic fiber, fiberglass, mineral fiber, mineral wool, polyurethane, silicone, and various specialty or proprietary materials.

Thermal insulation materials come in different forms, too. Choices include boards, blocks, cords, coated fabrics, flexible sheets, foams, paper, and tapes. As a custom fabricator, ArabTronix can source thermal protection materials in these and other form factors. We then convert stock items to create specialty thermal insulation that meets all of your application requirements.

Applications that commonly experience elevated temperatures are:
  • High Pressure Steam Piping,
  • Valves
  • Flanges
  • Expansion Joints
  • Heat Exchangers
  • Boilers
  • Furnaces
  • Ovens & Kilns
  • Dryers
  • Turbines
  • Chillers
  • Compressors
  • Co Generation Plants
  • Incinerators
  • Industrial Processing Equipment
  • Exhaust Manifolds
  • Catalytic Converters
  • Heat Treating

To give a feel for high temperatures, here are melting points of a few common materials:

Aluminum 1220°F
Brass 1823°F
Cast Iron 2000°F

We have the right insulation for your high temperature applications. Our high temperature insulation are used for high temperature heat containment as well as gasket for appliance heat insulation, furnaces, water heaters, automotive applications, stoves, hearth products, lighting, and boilers. They are effective to the following temperatures

Most common materials used in hot insulation

1-Mineral wool:
Mineral wool insulation is unique and highly versatile product. Its exceptional thermal properties contribute hugely to European efforts to save energy and combat climate change. Additionally, the structure of mineral wool - a mat of fibers which prevents the movement of air – coupled with its long-term stability, gives it an unique ability to combat noise pollution and promote safety by reducing the risk of fire.

2- Ceramic fiber:
ArabTronix Ceramic Fiber is composed of long flexible, interwoven fibers manufactured by the “spun” process yielding a strong, lightweight, durable product. This material can be used for applications with temperatures from 1000°F (538°C) to 2600°F (1425°C). ArabTronix Blankets have high tensile strength for longer life and durability. ArabTronix Ceramic Fibers contain no binders and are completely inorgan
